This joint symposium sponsored by the Cornea and Refractive ASCRS committees aims to increase knowledge in refractive options for irregular corneas. Diagnostic evaluations and various treatment options for corneas that have genetic or acquired corneal irregularities will be reviewed. Evidence based outcomes and clinical experience with new technologies such as genetic screening, image analysis in assessing irregular corneas, as well as treatments including laser and small aperture options will be discussed.
