In this webinar, attendees will review how to evaluate and manage cataracts in patients with various corneal diseases, including anterior basement membrane dystrophy, Salzmann’s Nodular Degeneration, keratoconus, and Fuchs’ Dystrophy. Surgery timing and when to consider combining surgeries is discussed.

Brandon D. Ayres, MD
Dr. Brandon Ayres has been part of the Cornea Service at Wills Eye Hospital since 2005. He is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in all forms of corneal transplantation including full thickness corneal transplants, Descemets’ stripping endothelial keratoplasty, deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty, and keratoprosthesis. Dr. Ayres treats all forms of infectious diseases of the eye and ocular surface disease.
Marjan Farid, MD
Marjan Farid, MD, is Director of the Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery and Vice-Chair of Ophthalmic Faculty at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute (GHEI) at UC-Irvine, California, US. Dr Farid’s clinical practice is divided between patient care, teaching, and research. She enjoys teaching ophthalmology to medical students, ophthalmology residents, and cornea Fellows.
Elizabeth Yeu, MD
Dr. Yeu is a nationally recognized leader and influential physician and educator in the eye care industry. She is actively involved in clinical research of new technologies and therapies to enhance overall vision and ocular health. She is highly regarded for her commitment to exceptional patient outcomes by incorporating novel therapeutics and advanced surgical techniques into her practice.
Clara C. Chan, MD, FRCSC, FACS, DABO
Dr. Chan is a specialist in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. She is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Toronto and the former Chair of the Resident Surgical Teaching Committee. She teaches fellows as part of the Cornea fellowship program at the Toronto Western Hospital and is the Medical Director of the Eye Bank of Canada, Ontario Division.
