Nicole R. Fram, MD
Dr. Nicole Fram is a board-certified ophthalmologist with an expertise in refractive and complex cataract surgery, anterior segment reconstruction, and corneal transplantation. She is the managing partner at Advanced Vision Care in Los Angeles, CA and the Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at the Stein Eye Institute, UCLA and serves as an attending surgeon at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Hospital.
Mitchell Weikert, MD
Mitchell P. Weikert, M.D., M.S. is an Associate Professor at the Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor College of Medicine. He obtained his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. He completed his fellowship in cornea, external disease, cataract and refractive surgery at the John. A. Moran Eye Center.
Brandon D. Ayres, MD
Dr. Brandon Ayres has been part of the Cornea Service at Wills Eye Hospital since 2005. He is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in all forms of corneal transplantation including full thickness corneal transplants, Descemets’ stripping endothelial keratoplasty, deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty, and keratoprosthesis. Dr. Ayres treats all forms of infectious diseases of the eye and ocular surface disease.
Steven G. Safran, MD, PA
Dr. Safran is an American Board Certified, Fellowship-trained Cornea Specialist, with a special interest in cataract surgery with premium lenses. He is an experienced cornea specialist with unique expertise in anterior segment reconstruction and lens-related problems, as well as an experienced Lasik surgeon with fellowship cornea training.
